The ExtravDose (Extravasation Dosimetry) module will be made available free of charge to all RAMP users until January 1, 2026. During this period, the NRC RAMP program encourages users to provide feedback to support further refinement and development of the module. To ensure continued support for the ExtravDose module, a new fee structure will take effect starting January 1, 2026:
- All international Organization, Private Entity, US Licensees, and Government Contractors will be required to pay $2,000/year for access to the ExtravDose module.
- U.S. University Staff, Students, and Federal/State government employees will receive free access to the ExtravDose module. Under this provision, these individuals will be required to renew their licenses every two years.
- At this time, all other V+ modules will remain free of charge to all RAMP users.
This update reflects the NRC’s commitment to advancing radiation protection tools while ensuring sustainable support for ongoing software development.
If you are already a RAMP member and would like to access V+ but you don't see the option to download the code from its webpage, please take the following actions.
As a RAMP Member you are eligible to download any of our free codes. However, we require all code names to be listed on NDAs approved by NRC staff before access is granted. Please download the NDA (NDA download link), fill it out, and submit it to NRC at RAMP [at] NRC.gov or you may update your previous NDA to include your code of interest and send it to RAMP [at] NRC.gov.
Submitting an NDA with V+ listed will grant access to the download for V+. The SkinDose, WoundDose, NeutronDose, EyeDose, and Radiological Toolbox modules will be available. In order to access the ExtravDose module, users will have to pay for a license. A "Request License" button will be added to the V+ page on the RAMP website in 2026.
Note, if you are a member of an Implementing Agreement via your organization, please request the code at RAMP [at] NRC.gov and cc your organization’s Point of Contact.
If you are interested in our premium codes, RASCAL, IMBA, or SNAP/RADTRAD, see their individual code pages for access information.
If you are not yet a RAMP member, please follow application instructions below.
Only RAMP members with preapproved code access can download RAMP codes.
